TinyBite — Privacy Policy

TinyBite (“the app”, “we”) helps parents check baby and toddler food labels. We designed TinyBite to keep your data on your device. This policy explains what the app does and does not collect.

Data we collect

We do not collect personal data on our servers. TinyBite does not require an account, and we do not run third-party advertising or analytics tracking SDKs.

• Baby profile & preferences (age, allergies, food preferences), scan history and favorites are stored locally on your device. They are not transmitted to us.
• Camera & photos are used only to read ingredient labels and barcodes. Text recognition runs on your device using Apple’s Vision framework. Photos are not uploaded to us.

Information sent to third parties

• Open Food Facts. When you scan a barcode or search for a product, the barcode number or your search term is sent to the Open Food Facts database (openfoodfacts.org) to look up product information. No personal identifiers are sent. See the Open Food Facts privacy policy.
• Apple. Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details. Subscription management is handled by Apple.

Children’s privacy

TinyBite is intended for use by parents and caregivers, not by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your control

You can delete your scan history and all local app data at any time from Settings → Data inside the app. Removing the app from your device deletes the locally stored data.

Medical disclaimer

TinyBite provides informational guidance based on product labels and your selected preferences, aligned with public WHO, AAP, U.S. CDC and EFSA infant-nutrition guidance. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always consult your pediatrician for allergy, nutrition or health decisions.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “Last updated” date.

Topladığımız veriler

Sunucularımızda kişisel veri toplamıyoruz. TinyBite hesap gerektirmez; üçüncü taraf reklam veya analitik takip araçları kullanmaz.

• Bebek profili ve tercihleri (yaş, alerjiler, beslenme tercihleri), tarama geçmişi ve favoriler yalnızca cihazınızda saklanır; bize iletilmez.
• Kamera ve fotoğraflar yalnızca içindekiler etiketlerini ve barkodları okumak için kullanılır. Metin tanıma, Apple Vision çerçevesiyle cihazınızda çalışır. Fotoğraflar bize yüklenmez.

Üçüncü taraflara gönderilen bilgiler

• Open Food Facts. Bir barkod taradığınızda veya ürün aradığınızda, barkod numarası veya arama teriminiz ürün bilgisi için Open Food Facts veritabanına gönderilir. Kişisel kimlik bilgisi gönderilmez.
• Apple. Satın almalar ve abonelikler App Store üzerinden Apple tarafından işlenir. Ödeme bilgilerinizi hiçbir zaman almayız.

Kontrol sizde

Tarama geçmişinizi ve tüm yerel uygulama verilerini istediğiniz zaman uygulama içinden Ayarlar → Veriler bölümünden silebilirsiniz.

TinyBite yalnızca bilgilendirme amaçlıdır ve tıbbi tavsiye, tanı veya tedavi yerine geçmez. Alerji, beslenme veya sağlık kararlarında her zaman çocuk doktorunuza danışın.
